Kaizen Tool Foam

Kaizen Easy Peel Tool Control Foam or shadow foam is an easy DIY alternative to high-density EVA tool foam to use when organizing tool trays or any storage system. Our Kaizen foam sheets have been especially engineered to leave a smooth surface at the highlight layer whiteout the need for special tools, they are designed to give you a quick and easy way to achieve maximum organization and visual tool control in your storage space.

Our 30mm Kaizen Foam sheets are made of 6 separate layers that allow you to use a cutting knife and your fingers to create a fit for all your tools in drawers and even on walls, the snug fit into the foam means you can use it vertically too.

We have especially engineered our custom foam production process, so the layers easily separate and leave a smooth finish at the layer removed, cheap made Kaizen foams leave a lumpy and rough finish. You do NOT need to use Kaizen spinners on drill bits to flatten the cut surface of our Kaizen, the separation of layers is very smooth if done slowly and carefully.

If you want an easy DIY to organize your tools and keep them in order and note missing tools, check it out as it allows you to make custom holders for almost any tool. Available in packs of 1000 x 670mm sheets or other variations, the most common thicknesses is 30mm, easy to cut to your drawer shape and if you need larger depth then order 60mm, 90mm, 120mm depth.

It is made of thin 5mm layers, so you just excavate a bit at a time as needed. Trace the tools and then cut through a minimum of one layer using a utility knife or scalpel, cut away more than one layer for deeper shapes then use your fingers to easy peel away the cut shape to remove the waste, and check the fit. Keep cutting until the recess is deep enough to hold the tool securely but shallow enough to grab easily.

You can use the shadow foam to hold any item you wish, tools, hobby items, collectables, cameras and anything that needs organizing.

Available as a two-colour combination – The dual-colour foam has a single layer of black on the top (or bottom if you turn it over) and other layers are red so when cut out, the colour contrast is easily visible against the top covering layer – providing a very quick and easy reference showing what is missing.

Note: this product should not be stored in direct sunlight, it must be stored inside, it is designed be used in drawers and cases.
